SLOW GROWING
Mother’s Day is the time that is safe to plant without the fear of frost for planting tender plants like tomatoes. I waited and now have peas, peppers, eggplant, broccoli, lettuce and herbs planted. I did discover that my soil is a little deficient in phosphorus (P). When a plant is deficient in this element it ha a problem producing seeds, flowers and fruit. Mushroom compost and bone meal will add phosphorus. So, I taken care of what needs to be done and now I can explore what it around the woods.
Hope you can get out and explore. Be well and safe. Linda
